Frank Santimauro, lecturer of business and economics at Penn State New Kensington, will showcase 111 of his art photography pieces in the campus Art Gallery April 25 to May 29. He will also be retiring from teaching after 22 years at the campus.
Penn State's sexual misconduct climate survey will close on April 22. The survey was sent to a random sample of students at all Penn State campuses; students can check their Penn State email for a link to complete the survey. The University-wide survey is designed to assess issues of sexual assault, misconduct and harassment.
Penn State New Kensington's Invent Penn State innovation hub, The Corner, will host a variety of free events from April 5 to 7 during Penn State Startup Week powered by PNC. Topics will include marketing basics, LaunchBox tours, a small business boot camp, and innovation models.
The Small Business Reboot Co-op, a free, four-session program, will feature topics such as business plan development, marketing, loan readiness and accounting. An information session is scheduled for April 6.
The Digital Foundry at New Kensington, a collaborative initiative of Penn State New Kensington and the Economic Growth Connection of Westmoreland County, is slated to open in spring 2022 and has been named one of seven Smart Manufacturing Innovation Centers through the Department of Energy.
Leader Launch, exclusively for current New Kensington campus students and recent alumni, will feature networking, a young alumni panel and professional development breakout sessions.
The Off the Wall pARTy celebrates arts and culture with a unique evening consisting of art, live and silent auctions, food tastings, drinks, music and more. Proceeds benefit cultural art initiatives and scholarships at the campus.
